Jambi Cocha Lodge, located in the Reserva Biológica Limoncochaon the borders of the provinces of Orellana and Sucumbios, is a marvellous site filled with flora and fauna native to the Amazon basin. The Lodge posts an average temperature of 28 degrees centigrade (82 F), at an altitude of about 290 meters above sea level (951 feet). The Lodge covers an area of about 60 hectares (148 acres) and includes the beautiful Laguna Limoncocha. Jambi Cocha is the perfect site for relaxation and direct contact with nature.
Jambi Cocha Lodge was founded in cooperation with the Kichua community, and is working to conserve the Amazon Rainforest and improve life for the native Kichua of the community. Our knowledgable local guides speak Spanish, English, and Kichua. The name of the Lodge, “Jambi Cocha” is Kichua and means "Lake of Healing" - certainly, you will feel better after your visit!

There are many things to enjoy when you stay at Jambi Cocha Lodge; guided walks through the primary forest, canoeing in the lagoon, and catching your own dinner of pirahna right off the docks! At Jambi Cocha, the birdwatching is world-class. We have recorded over 350 different species of birds here, like the unique Hoatzin, musical songbirds, colourful hummingbirds, and parrots like the majestic Macaw. Our native guides are knowledagble on the medicinal plants that grow in the jungle, as well as the wildlige. At night, we can go out in canoes to observe the caimans that live in the lake.
On the other hand, you can also simply relax and enjoy our unparalleled scenery.
We offer pre-programmed plans of 4 days, 3 nights, and of 7 days, 6 nights, for groups up to 16. We also offer flexible plans to suit your vacation needs. Contact us for rates and more information!
We offer short plans of 4 days, 3 nights, and longer ones of 7 days, 6 nights. It is also possible to program your own plan according to your needs and schedule.
Contact us for more infomation about the plans and to reserve your jungle vacation at Jambi Cocha Lodge. All plans include transportation from Coca to the Lodge, three meals a day, accomodation in cabins, all activities, and transport back to Coca. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to accomodate you.
Flight or bus trip to Coca is not included in the package price.
Included in the package price are rubber boots (up to size 43),, rain ponchos, and all gear necessary for the activities.
We reccomend that you bring along a flashlight, bug repellant, your camera or camcorder, light clothes, a light jacket, and your hat.

Our cabins are constructed in the traditional Kichua style using materials native to the zone, like Manzano wood and palm-leaf thatched roofs. Nestled into the jungle near the banks of Laguna Limoncocha, they offer the tourist a memorable stay.
We offer comfortable rooms with one to four beds, private and shared bathrooms with hot water. All of our beds have treated mosquito nets for your comfort and protection. Relax and watch the jungle go by from our spacious dining room, or enjoy typical dishes from our kitchen.
